To create an e-mail account in DirectAdmin, follow these steps:
1) log into your DirectAdmin control panel
2) In the E-mail Manager section of the DirectAdmin home screen, click E-mail Accounts
3) Click Create Mail Account on the right top side of the screeen.
4) Enter a new email address in the Username text box.
5) Type a password in the Password text box. You can click Generate and DirectAdmin generates a random, strong password for you.
6) In the E-mail Quota section, enter a custom mailbox quota storage size. (100Meg)
7) Set send limit.
8) Click Create Account.
9) Copy The account details and safe it to use when setting up your account on your email client.
Modifying an e-mail account
To modify an e-mail account in DirectAdmin, follow these steps:
1) log into your DirectAdmin control panel
2) In the E-mail Manager section of the DirectAdmin home screen, click E-mail Accounts
3) Locate the account you want to modify, and then click on the plus sighn on the right side at the end om the account.
4) To access the account’s webmail, click next to the account name on the arrow and sighn into webmail.
5) To change the account’s password, Locate the account you want to modify, and then click on the plus sighn on the right side at the end om the account and change password.
6) When you change an e-mail account password, make sure that you also update the password in your e-mail client application (if you are using one). Otherwise, you will not be able to access the account.
7) To change the account’s quota, Locate the account you want to modify, and then click on the plus sighn on the right side at the end om the account, change limits.
8) Click Save
You can delete an e-mail account when you no longer need it. However, you cannot delete your default e-mail account.
Deleting an e-mail account deletes all e-mail currently in the account, including new messages, sent messages, and so on. Make sure that you download any e-mail that you want to retain before you delete an account. After you delete an account, the information is unrecoverable.
To delete an e-mail account in DirectAdmin, follow these steps:
1) log into your DirectAdmin control panel
2) In the E-mail Manager section of the DirectAdmin home screen, click E-mail Accounts
3) Locate the e-mail account that you want to delete, and then click on the box next to the email account.
4) Click Delete Email Account, and then click Delete to confirm. DirectAdmin deletes the e-mail account and all it’s content.
